There's another cartoon creator on YT, HotDiggedyDemon, who has a similar gross out humor/artstyle as this, except his cartoons are much better because:
1. The jokes/references are actually funny

God the animation is so bad, the timing is all off and poses don't flow naturally into each other. Nothing feels quick and snappy as you'd expect from a cartoon like this not to mention the digital tween and zooms are too floaty. Also its extremely easy to integrate 3D into a 2D animation and the 3D in here feels so out of place and cheap. I'm curious is the last animation made by another animator? Cause it sure feels like it.

Yet again, this is not how to do an animated short!

Where to start? The animation may be good, but at the same time, it flows like ass. Also, the CGI doesn't mesh well with the 2D animation! There are also perspective errors, a brief animation note at one frame and even brief flashes (including a frame of an altarnate scene were Cigarettes looks at the can.). The music is always shifting, there are too much sound effects (hell, my cartoons uses little sound effects!), there are too much audio quality shifting, the backgrounds are an eyesore to look at and to add insult to injury, it has talent behind it! That is really sad!

Fuck John K., fuck his style of humor, fuck his animations, fuck his career and fuck his life. Except his characters (including Ren Hoek and Stimpson J. Cat.). He is a child predator, and a sexual harasser that needs to be in jail. And you know what's bad, that working with John Kricfalusi himself is a total nightmare.

Hey everyone, I do cartoons exclusively for Vlare, and doesn't take me crowdfunding and 7 fucking years to finish it! I recommend you shall check them out. They're better and superior than this animated piece of shit.

@kanna -p I think you're confused. I wasn't saying John K was the man I hated most. I was saying the man I hated most is a huge John K fan. And yeah, there are lots of people in this world worth hating, and for darn good reasons too, but it was personal in that case.

That John K fan made my female classmates cry and have nightmares, got into arguments with classmates with cancer, claimed every art style where a character can't touch the top of their head was worthless, and was a bully of the verbal and cyber kind, the kinds of bullying that's hardest to punish. Fredrick Knudsen should do a Down the Rabbit Hole episode on JohnK sometime down the line (Or another big YouTuber with a similar webseries). I feel like lots of people have made videos about the bizarre stuff that's come out recently, but no one has made one that looked at the entire insanity of JohnK, his complete descent, or all the wierd stuff he's said on his blog. I mean, the video by That Creepy Reading, and the one by Cartoons 101 are both good, but I feel like they just scratch the surface.

Why are you Disliking it? Controversy can also happen to other creators too... The voice actor of George has passed away before the short was even completed. +John K. Couldn't find the DVD rights for the short which explains why the short was delayed from the original release.

I consider this the best cartoon John has written since 1993, in my opinion. Feel free to disagree. I like the storyline and actually laughed several times.


Not that the criticism is uncalled for. I understand if you're disappointed by the wonky animation, but is anyone surprised that John isn't as good as he was 25 years ago? The editing isn't really that great either. This is still 1000 times better than Adult Party Cartoon.


I'm happy I finally got to know the voice actors for Slab and Ernie. Wait, John K isn't George Liquor in this?

Dude, it's a 10 minute cartoon. That should NOT take a team of 10 animators 7 years to produce unless they're drawing every single frame by hand at 60fps and actually hand painting them.

The problem is not really the animation, it's really everything else.

There is no structure.

This is a descent cartoon. Even though I never paid money for this. I think this can be better. The visuals get a little trippy by moving by itself at times. But everything else is just fine. I think it's a good thing to watch from one of my favorite animators that hasn't gotten any recognition in a long time.

And the fact that the story actually happened in johns childhood. Expect Donald bastard never came in and ate the face, or there was ever a face in a can to begin with. But other things that was wrong with this cartoon is what everyone points out. I still can't wait to see him return for something bigger than an 11 minute short.

I don't know whether to be sad for the old legend who made this, feel that this was expected, or angry that people pledged to this video. It's horrible to watch and boring all together. I would say the animation is what makes the vid, but I don't know what's wrong with it. It looks very, very off to me. Feels like some moments are traditional and others feel like motion tweens. It's such an off mix to me. And the voice overs are fine, would be better if the audio quality was better. But other than that, they're fine. Good work from the voice actors and all.

Some of this is good simply for that John K style of writing and animation, but most of it just stinks. The biggest problem is how awful the camera angles are, its always just moving and sliding all over the shots, and paired with how some animations are done, just screams "THIS IS FLASH!". It's also more jarring comparing this to the rough animation which had better shots and coloring.

For 25+ years, John K. has espoused that meddling executives are the only reason he couldn't succeed in Hollywood. He was fired from Ren and Stimpy because of executives, and all of his projects have gone down in flames because of executives.

This was a project started back in 2012, by a "professional" animator known as john K. He recieved 136,000 dollars on kickstarter to make this short 11 minute cartoon and took 7 years to do it.

If you know anything about animation, you would know that this money would warrant animation 10 times better than this, and would've taken less than 7 years, for a cartoon that's literally 11 minutes long, which is around the length of like 2 good sized flash animations.

John K literally just took people's money, and then lazily put together a cartoon so he couldn't get sued by his backers. It was a scam and a half by an animator who's notorious for making excuses for his laziness.

For 7 years of work it looks like something a college animation student could whip up in about 6 months
